VVSD Advances Man-Made Global Warming Hoax Under the Guise of Conservation (Thursday, February 18, 2010)

In spite of he fact that the man-made global warming hoax has been exposed, VVSD is advancing the man-made global warming agenda under the guise of conservation.

This Bolingbrook Sun article makes this breathtaking erroneous claim:

Our scientific community is in agreement that the effects of global warming have already produced climatic changes worldwide,...

This is a lie. There is no agreement in the scientific community about the effects of global warming, a.k.a. man-made global warming. Even Phil Jones, one of the scientists implicated in the ClimateGate email scandal, admitted that the science is not settled.

Just this past week, Phil Jones admitted that:

1. He "lost" the temperature data supporting the man-made global warming theory
2. There has been no global warming since 1995
3. There have been warming periods before not attributable to man-made causes
   

At this board meeting, I specifically asked Building Operations Director, Mike Lopez, about the district's Comprehensive Energy and Environmental Management Initiative, ("CEEMI"), Strategic Directive #7. Educational Integration. He said that he was working with one teacher of a 6th grade environmental class on a potential project, implying that this was not a district wide objective.

However, this Bolingbrook Sun article makes it clear that the district's CEEMI has less to do with conservation, and more to do with advancing the man-made global warming hoax using public schools.

The first of three listed purposes of the CEEMI- To manage limited resources and budgets - is rather neutral and should be a goal of any large organization. However, the second and third purposes - To act socially responsible and to teach environmental stewardship to our community - reek of political correctness and indoctrination.

The CEEMI presentation boldly states on page 4 that "Energy and Environmental Conservation is CRITICAL to Our Fiscal Responsibility and Bottom Line!" Yet the run-away debt service and salary and benefits spending, which comprises over 75% of the budget, is the real driver of the district's financial instability.

The Bolingbrook Sun article sites the United Nations Climate Summit - the same United Nations that has been exposed as fraudulently advancing the man-made global warming hoax.
