11/09/09 Board Meeting - Scholastic Book Fair Capitulates to Gay Activists

I shared my views with the board regarding Scholastic Book's decision to include the homosexuality affirming book, Luv Ya Bunches, in its middle school book fair.

Scholastic Book Fair originally excluded the book, Luv Ya Bunches, as they should have, because it morally equates homosexuality with heterosexuality. However, at the insistence of gay activists, the Scholastic Book Fair reversed its decision and now includes this book in its elementary catalog and middle school book fair.

Laurie Higgins of the IFI Division of School Advocacy reports in Boycott Scholastic Books:

Change.org describes Scholastic Books as "one of the largest education publishers in the world with broad influence over the reading materials of children everywhere. . . .These are the same book fairs that have reach [sic] to millions of schoolchildren nationwide." Clearly, homosexual activists recognize the potential Scholastic Books has to transform the views of impressionable children.

Public school is not the place to promote the gay agenda, a self serving agenda of a handful of gay activists, taking advantage of the innocence of millions of children and their parents. Click here to contact Scholastic Books.
